The 2010 Legatum Africa Awards for Entrepreneurship is now open for entries from small and medium scale businesses in 15 countries across sub-Saharan Africa. The Grand Prize is $100,000. In addition, 5 runner ups are to be awarded a prize of $50,000 each.
Past winners include Superflux International, a security printing solutions company in Nigeria and Integr8 Group, a South African IT company.
Winning companies are expected to exhibit visionary leadership, community impact and strong growth among others.
