Samsung Android Tablet now available in South Africa

(CP-Africa) South Africa has joined the list of tech savvy countries in the continent with encouraging interest in Android mobile, as its Vodacom network launches Samsung Galaxy Tablet.
Samsung Andriod is a portable device that has a rich web browser, which allows users to view Internet content including Flash sites, view photos, watch movies etc. It also allow users to access Google’s application store and download up to 100 000 applications in the Android market. Users can also enjoy fast connectivity since this tablet is both Wi-Fi and HSDPA/HSUPA enabled.
With a 7-inch screen with a (1024X600) screen resolution and high pixel density, it makes it easy to view office documents and to use as an e-book reader. It has dual cameras (3MP and 1.3MP) with video conferencing capabilities.
According to Vodacom SA Managing Director, Shameel Joosub, the Samsung Galaxy Tab has been especially designed for users who want to maximize satisfaction of a tablet PC while retaining utmost portability. “It certainly takes multitasking to new heights,” he said. The device is available for as low as R379 per month inclusive of data from any participating Vodacom outlet.
