EVER WONDERED how monotonous our lives have become where sitting at home we blame and complain about every sub system of the society and have built barriers around ourselves which restrict us from doing anything not in our daily routine. We debate on issues like global warming, poverty, education, women empowerment, drug abuse – but are we initiating any action to curb these issues which hamper the development of our nation.
‘We need you, we need your youth, your strength, and your idealism to help us make right what is wrong’ – It is a generation which aims at bringing about the positive change it wishes to see in the world.
AIESEC is the world’s largest not-for-profit youth-run organization which facilitates exchange to create a positive impact through its global exchange program where people from across a 107 countries network come together and work with corporate, schools and NGO’s which not only helps the individual to grow professionally with the internship experience but also sensitizes them to people of different culture and backgrounds and helps in bringing the feeling of unity in diversity.
AIESEC in Nigeria, the national chapter of AIESEC International has been involved in providing the Nigerian Youths the opportunity of becoming leaders and positive agents since 1961. Leaders who are globally minded, emotional intelligent, socially responsible, active learners and entrepreneurial. This is done by providing members the platform to explore and develop their leadership potential.
