Mobile Remittance Summit, West Africa to hold in Lagos

Mobile Money Africa, a leading light in mobile money promotion and the organizer of the recent MobiFest2010 will hold the first West Africa Mobile Remittance Summit this month.

The summit will  host solution providers, regulators, financial institutions and subject matter experts that are actively promoting and pushing the frontiers of financial inclusion via the  mobile phone to millions of unbanked in a region with over 120 million mobile subscribers and less than 35 million Bank account holders under an addressable market of  300 million people.

Mobile  Remittance West Africa  2010  will bring over 250 senior executives, subject matter experts  and mobile financial practitioners from  West African  financial institutions, mobile Network  operators, financial service providers, technology solution providers, and consultancies  to discuss, debate, and network  on Mobile remittance and associated interest areas like financial inclusion, regulations, Micro Finance and solutions.
