“Logobi” an intercultural contemporary dance performance by Frank (Cote d’Ivoire), Israel (Nigeria) and Richard (Germany).
As a result of their successful outing at the 2010 “Danse meets Dance” Festival, which took place in Lagos last year, the German choreographer, Monika Ginterdorfer was invited by the Goethe-Institut to conduct a workshop for leading Nigerian dancers and choreographers.
The result of the workshop was presented to the public on Saturday as “LOGOBI” featuring- Frank Edmond Yao, Richard Siegal and Israel.
After Logobi as performed, Ijodee Dance Company also thrilled the audience with “In Imagination” and “Why not…”.
“In Imagination” was a contemporary dance performed by Adedayo Liadi, depicting how the mind travels farther and faster than the body, while “Why not…” was a group performance on the diversity of human nature and complexity of togetherness.
The show took place at Terra Kulture, Nigerian cultural Center, in Lagos.
