On September 28, 2010, the first set of e-mails were sent towards the #NigeriaDecides tech meetup that was attended by 82 tech enthusiasts on Saturday, October 16, 2010. This later culminated into the deployment of some technology platforms that were deployed for the elections such as Revoda.

The meetup is organizing a second edition to review the use of technology in the 2011 elections – and discuss possible future directions.

The following questions will be explored:

• How do we use existing tech tools to further improve democracy and citizen participation towards good governance?
• Do opportunities for collaboration exists for various tools?
• What worked and what didn’t work?
