The Top 5 Blogs in Nigeria
Check out our latest list of top bloggers in Nigeria 2012! For the 2011 list, keep reading below…N.B. – Though we consider ourselves, CP-Africa, a top Nigerian blog, we have left ourselves out of the rankings to preserve its objectivity.
We have been wanting to do an internet and blogging series on CP-Africa and what better way to kick off the series than to start off discussing the blogging space on the continent! Blogging in Africa has really taken off over the past few years and it is going to continue to be exciting in the years to come.
Our first internet and blogging feature country is Nigeria which is home to some of Africa’s most loved and recognized blogging brands.
Credible internet ranking statistics are difficult to come by but for now, we will be relying on rankings by web information company, Alexa.com. Here is a list of Nigeria’s top 5 blogs.
UPDATE: Please note that these rankings are based on a moment in time i.e., May 22, 2011. Alexa rankings are known to change fairly frequently but these blogs in general are typically the most visited overall…
How Alexa measures a website’s popularity
The rank by country is calculated using a combination of average daily visitors and pageviews on from users from that country.
