“The Search for Africa’s Next Hollywood Star Show Launches”
A new television reality show, ‘Search for Africa’s Next Hollywood Star’ recently launched to recruit acting talent in West Africa for Hollywood.
Organised by The Latin Dance Company, Nigeria, and their Ghanaian collaborators, Davis Media and Paradise Entertainment, the TV show contestants will be selected from Ghana and Nigeria and Acting coach, Tracey Moore as well as film producer and director, Samad Davis, will work with the contestants.
To enter the competition, interested applicants are expected to buy a four thousand naira form and present the bank teller received after its purchase at the show’s audition center.
The show’s auditions will hold from June 29 with the first stop at Planet One, Maryland, Lagos and later move to NICON Luxury Hotel, Garki, Abuja, on July 4 as well as Hotel Presidential, Port Harcourt, on July 8.
After the auditions, five Nigerians and Ghanaians will be selected and flown to New York for the show. Afterwards, the final two contestants will then be taken to Hollywood for the grande finale of the show after which the overall the winner will be selected.
The winning prize includes a one year contract with a Hollywood agent and an opportunity to feature in a movie with African American actor, Morris Chestnut, in a movie project by Davis.
