It is wonderful what a sentence be it negative or positive can do to the human mind. The key is ‘PERCEPTION’. Like the saying, ‘we all look but see differently’. As I read on a friend’s facebook status in regards to Nigeria’s 51st celebration; ‘she has exceeded menopause, which is why she is unproductive’. I chuckled, as the story of Ana in the bible came to mind.
Despite all the negatives in our country, its citizens are yet to relent, yet to yield to hopelessness, yet to concede to poverty, yet to give in to under- development. Nigeria may have all of these issues, but the richness of the mind of its citizens and the positive mentality of its youths overshadows the painful reality of our lack.-HOPE
All over the world, you would find Nigerians in their youth, proudly representing the nation, make exploits and blazing trails. From 23 year old polo queen Uneku Atawodi, to world press photo winner Akintunde Akinleye, Nigerians are setting standards for others to surpass.-INSPIRATION
‘Even if guys in green n white uniforms obviously extort money from commuter buses n hawkers n our govt can’t see or stop dem but dey can see drivers who don’t use seat belts, I still love naija’. Relentlessly pursuing their dreams each day, going against odds, diligently living their life and praying for a better tomorrow.-PASSION
Nigeria is blessed, even in adversity, there is prosperity, hope for a better tomorrow, inspiration to remain on the race and the passion to drive our everyday life.
