The primary role of the Apps Sales Lead involves finding, developing, and closing Google Apps and Google Postini opportunities in medium to large accounts within Nigeria, a highly competitive environment. The Apps Sales Lead will be responsible for setting the strategy for, and leading apps opportunities through the sales cycle to successful deployment. You will evangelize the Enterprise vision across customer organizations, develop and sustain high level customer relationships, and identify key stakeholders and business pains. You must be a self starter who is prepared to develop a coverage plan, execute against the plan, and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets in a highly competitive environment.
* Develop a comprehensive plan to ensure broad penetration of accounts with Google App’s and Google Postini services.
* Seek out key stakeholders and work across customer organizations to identify opportunities, upsell, and close deals
* Understand customer requirements and product capabilities on a business and technical level to effectively communicate the unique benefits of Google Apps and appropriately set expectations
* Develop and deliver custom presentations on Google Enterprise solutions
* Meet and exceed quarterly sales targets
* BA/BS degree preferred with a strong academic record (MBA a plus) preferably in Computer Science, Business, Marketing or Communications or equivalent work experience
* Extensive Field Sales experience selling enterprise software (experience selling software as a service, collaboration or messaging products preferred), 3 to 5 years experience is a plus
* Proven ability to sell large deals and consistently exceed quotas
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
* Able to work independently, but within a team environment
* Goal oriented, self-motivated individual who is confident, competitive, thorough, and tenacious
