The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) recently ranked Airtel Nigeria as the provider of best quality of mobile telephony services.
The telecommunications company was ranked number 1 based on four crucial parameters namely ‘call set-up success rate’ (CSSR), ‘call completion rate’ (CCR), ‘drop call rate’ (DCR) and ‘traffic channel congestion’ (TCH).
The results indicated that out of the four major GSM operators in the country, Airtel recorded the best performances in ‘call completion rate’ (CCR) and ‘traffic channel congestion’ (TCH) among others.
