Nigerian Online shop, Kasuwa.com launches

Nigerian online shop, Kasuwa.com officially launched today. Kasuwa.com which is a website owned by German online startup incubator, Rocket Internet GmbH will allow Nigerians buy various consumer goods online ranging from mobile phones to homeware.

“Kasuwa” a Hausa word for market will serve as a large virtual marketplace with provisions for payments via debit/credit cards, instant EFT and cash on delivery. Orders also get shipped to customers (as part of a promotional offer) with an accompanying tracking number. The website also has an online customer support line available daily from 9am to 6pm
