Jonathan to launch back-to-school campaign, “Mmuta Amaka” in South East Nigeria

President Goodluck Jonathan is set to launch a national campaign in Nigeria to encourage young men in South Eastern Nigeria to go back to school.

Dubbed “Mmuta Amaka” the campaign is aimed at encouraging boy-child education among South Eastern youths.

The formal launch will be held tomorrow in Enugu State . According to the State’s Commissioner for Education, Dr Simon Uchenna Ortuanya the event would be taking place at the Michael Okpara Square, Enugu and is specifically targeted at children especially males who had abandoned education in pursuit of other endeavors.
