Forbes: Dangote Cement, Zenith Bank, others top Forbes list of West African companies
0Dangote Cement, Ecobank International, Zenith Bank and Nestle Nigeria Plc topped a recent Forbes list of West African companies. The list will be formally released at an award ceremony held by Forbes Africa in Lagos.
Titled, “The Top Listed West African Companies,” the event aims to encourage West African organisations to strive for sustained excellence. It also aims to promote the profiles of these organizations in Nigeria and around the world.
The list covered up to 25 companies traversing those listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange, Ghanaian Stock Exchange and the Abidjan-based Bourse Régionale des Valeurs Mobilières SA (Regional Securities Exchange SA) or BRVM.
Listed speakers at the event include Chief Executive Officer, Nigerian Stock Exchange, Mr. Oscar Onyema, and Managing Editor, Forbes Africa, Mr. Chris Bishop.
