Nigeria’s Bez recently inked a music and publishing deal with Universal. Bez who has been on a U.S. tour for his debut album “Super Sun” has gained critical acclaim in major media outlets including BBC world which described him recently as “The next big talent out of Nigeria.” Earlier in the year, The Boston Globe listed his Super Sun album as one of World music’s top albums of 2011. In March of this year, he performed live at SXSW courtesy of an All Africa showcase organized by media distribution platform, Spinlet.
Bez recently featured in Essence Magazine’s “New and Next” column which spotlights the brightest new talents Essence would like to introduce to its readers. You can check out the feature here.
