Blackberry Generation! Meet this year’s Blackberry Student Ambassadors in Nigeria
0With over 2.4 million users, Nigeria is a key market regionally and globally for the Blackberry smart phone brand. As testament to the company’s recognition of the country as a strategic play for its business, Research in Motion has since the start of the year increased its engagement with both local app developers and its Nigerian users. After an April Parapo with Nigerian app developers at the Co-Creation Hub, Lagos, it has since launched campaigns targeted at Nigeria’s youthful population including last week’s Hashtag party, an exclusive invite only event featuring A-list Nigerian artistes such as M.I.
The smart phone brand took things a step further recently by announcing its student ambassadors across various campuses in Nigeria. It has an interesting name for them – Blackberry Messengers
Check out some of this year’s set of Blackberry Messengers, including Patrick Ebube who looks strikingly similar to a certain Nigerian musician!
