Popular social network, Yookos launches job site
0Popular social network, Yookos, has introduced a job section for African youths hosted on their platform. Dubbed Yookos Jobs, the site provides information on job opportunities and career tips to Africans not just within the continent but also those in the Diaspora. Yookos which was previously used as an online platform for a church community to share prayer points amongst themselves has quickly grown to become a full scale social network and currently has an estimated 9 million users globally.
The site aims to amass over 20 million users before year end.
Speaking on the social network’s rapid growth, Yookos C.E.O., Mr. Tomisin Fashina had this to say:
“We’re proud of our roots, but Yookos is a social network designed to reach out to all Africans, regardless of religion, politics, gender or where one is. This is a meeting place for all Africans to come and be educated, entertained, and interact. We are also seeing more and more other organisations using Yookos as a platform to reach their communities, and we’re hoping to grow that significantly as well,” he said.
