He was a recipient of National Geographic’s “All Roads” Award, the World Press Prize and a fellowship at the University of Texas. His work has been published in TIME magazine and the New York Times and exhibited in Lagos, Madrid, Berlin, California, Bamako and Amsterdam
A consummate academic, he is fascinated by the opportunities of technology for education and the role that the media plays in nation building. He continues to work on projects in photojournalism and the academia and is currently pursuing a PhD.
