5 gold medals for Nigeria at the London Paralympic Games as Loveline Obiji wins a gold medal
0Loveline Obiji of Nigeria recently took the country to its fifth gold medal victory at the London Paralympic Games. She won her gold medal for coming out tops in the women’s 82.50kg. 
Despite not winning a medal in the London Olympics Game, the Nigerian Paralympic team has fared far better garnering up to 5 gold medals for the country.
Speaking on her recent win, Obiji said:
“After establishing that lead, I knew that the gold was mine. I told God that I wanted gold and he gave it to me. I wasn’t under any pressure because I knew who was behind me.
“Now that the work has been done I will return home and prepare for the 2016 Paralympics.”
