Using animal dung to create sustainable gas energy for Africa – Watch Dominic Wanjihia of Biogas Africa at TedxNairobi

Dominic Wanjihia, CEO of Biogas Africa, designed a sustainable system that uses a flexible incubator and animal dung to produce sustainable gas energy. He gives the talk below at TedxNairobi.

Dominic Wanjihia designed his first biogas system while working as an auto mechanic over a decade ago.

“My passion to design user-friendly and green gadgets was inspired by my experience with poor Kenyans who struggle everyday trying to meet their energy needs,” he said. “Most of the devices I develop are meant to meet the needs of rural communities in the areas of energy, water and agriculture.”
