Speaking on the ranking, MTN group president and CEO, Sifiso Dabengwa expressed confidence that the MTN brand will continue to claim its place in the world as it continues to double down on its commitment to its workforce and to the delivery of “a bold, new digital world to customers.”
The combined value of companies in the top 100 list is an estimated $2.9 trillion. This year, Google overtook Apple to become the world’s most valuable global brand. Fast risers this year include leading Chinese Internet brand, Tencent as well as American brands, Twitter and LinkedIn.
