Wahid Enitan-Oshodi , The President of the Nigeria Table Tennis Federation, has been elected into the Commonwealth Table Tennis Federation.
A statement by Nigeria Table Tennis Federation on 27th April , 2015 said Enitan-Oshodi’s election was for his active role in reviving the fortunes of table tennis and his country’s position to promoting the sport.
It said that he was elected into the board of directors of CTTF on April 26 in Suzhou, China.
Oshodi’s election into the Commonwealth Table Tennis Federation makes him the second African as he joins South Africa’s Audrina Mcdonald, who is the treasurer of CTTF as the second African member of the federation.
Commonwealth Table Tennis Federation is the highest ruling body in charge of table tennis in the Commonwealth nations and it is made up of 12 members, chaired by England’s Alan Ransome.
Prior to the election; Oshodi was also a member of the International Table Tennis Federation Nomination Committee.
