FbStart, a program launched in 2014 to help early stage mobile developers build, grow and monetize their apps through mentorship and benefits provided by Facebook and its partners, has kick-started its 2015 FbStart World Tour to meet and coach startups on business growth in 20 cities across the world.
According to a new release from Facebook, “As we get started with year two of FbStart, we’re excited to welcome a new group of partners to the program, as well as announce a number of added benefits for developers.”
In 2014, FbStart hosted events with thousands of developers in more than 10 countries, including France, Germany, Israel, the U.K. and Brazil. The 2015 FbStart World Tour is a 20-city event series where Facebook executives and FbStart partners meet with startups to provide coaching and feedback on how they can grow their businesses.
Facebook now has more than 20 partners contributing benefits worth more than $80,000 for companies in the Accelerate track, $30,000 for Bootstrap, and $15,000 for Pre-launch.
