The 2nd Annual State of Education in Africa Conference of Africa-America Institute will hold on September 2 at InterContinental Hotel in Lagos, Nigeria. At this event, Africa-America Institute will unveil an innovative competition towards a better educational system; PitchFest.
PitchFest is designed to explore information and technology and other smart tools to make education better and readily available to children in Africa. The call is for teams or individuals with creative solutions for the education industry targeted towards Africa.
The PitchFest submission process will run from Monday, May 4 to Tuesday, June 30 and applicants are to be submit via email.
A selection committee will choose five individuals or teams to participate in the conference. The finalists will have an opportunity to present their innovative ideas for three minutes to our panel of judges. Winner doesn’t take all as first place winners will receive $2,500; $1,000 for second place; and $500 for the three runner-ups.
