MyQ, a Nigerian transport app has been announced winner of the Seedstars World Lagos Competition.
The startup, a mobile application that provides queue management, passenger loading, and ticketing services to the transport industry will compete for USD 500,000 in investment at the Seedstars World Event holding in Switzerland next February.
A total of 12 startups pitched at the Seedstars Lagos event, with Talentbase, a mobile HR and payroll software and NerveFlo, a digital content distribution system emerging second and third respectively. Receiving the people’s choice award was Tembo, a social enterprise that provides early childhood education.
Seedstars World Lagos was organised in partnership with Stanbic IBTC, Lagos Startup Week, CcHub, Uber, Simple Pay and Enspire Incubator.
