SweepSouth, a South African startup has been included in the US-based 500 Start-ups accelerator. SweepSouth is the first South African startup to be included in the four month programme. The Start-up is to get a funding of $125 000.
The startup operates in major South African centres- Cape Town, Johannesburg and Pretoria. It matches cleaners with offices and has received angel funding in South Africa before now.
Like other tech start-ups providing services, clients get to book a home or office cleaning services online from phones, tablet or computer and SweepSouth connects you with a cleaner in minutes.
For SweepSouth, this new funding and 4-month accelrator programme is providing an opportunity to grow the business.
