So many people wait until life to pushes them before they act, move or improve. They want to try out new things but afraid it won’t be accepted. They have great ideas but afraid it won’t amount to much. Some are tired of their jobs, while others, the house they are living in.
And amazingly, they are still where they are. They have motion but no progress (direction). Our physics folks call it ‘Scalar Quantity’.
Just like John Maxwel would say; if you don’t like the house you’re living in, pack out!
Let me rephrase; if you want to do something, quit talking and do it!
If you are not happy with your job, move!
Don’t wait for life to push you before you make progress. Don’t stay too long at a particular level in your life. Always push yourself to a higher ground. That’s where true freedom is; and that’s the place you desire to be. It is called a place of peace.
If you have an idea, implement or execute it. If you are tired of your job, quit and get another one or go start something. If you’re tired of the house you’re living in, if you want a bigger apartment, go all out and get it.
“The fear of being different prevents most people from seeking new ways to solve their problems.” – Robert Kiyosaki
Don’t become too comfortable where you are. People are afraid of the top that’s why it’s less crowded. It takes some gumption to go there and stay. You would need to get away from certain kind of people, you would need to put yourself under some form pressure (mentally, physically, emotionally etc.) and probably have lesser hours of sleep.
These are the things that keep people from seeking such life. But the good thing is, that’s where decisions that affect your day-to-day life are made. They are made from the top.
You either join or you will be swallowed up. There is no middle ground. Forget all the lies you grew up hearing. Middle grounds are glorified failures. Simple! Sencillo!
“It’s easier to stand on the sidelines, criticize, and say why you shouldn’t do something. The sidelines are crowded. Get in the game.” – Robert Kiyosaki
One factor that you must overcome is the ‘fear’ factor. If you have fears of the unknown, you may never experience much success in life. If you’re afraid of tomorrow, all your decisions and plans will be small because you will be playing safe.
It is good for you to know that, playing safe is never safe. Being afraid of taking risk is a bigger risk itself. When you realize no major success Is made by people who want the simple things of life, you will understand that playing safe makes you small. You’re like a rat!
As an entrepreneur, there are things you’ve put on hold for too long, there are places you wanted to go but never got the fare ticket. There are contracts you love to bid for but you always thought you’re small. And that’s being your greatest undoing.
You’re not small. You’re big! If you’ve a dream, then you must be important. You are one of the rare few. If dreams were easy, everyone would have them plus an idea.
Give life a reason to follow you as the world tends to follow Steve Jobs who saw the future almost every day till his death.
Don’t let life push you. Give life some push!
“Your time is limited; don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma, which is living the result of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other opinions drown your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition, they somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” – Steve Jobs
