As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, MRS Oil Nigeria Plc, has kicked off its maiden women empowerment initiative set up to empower Nigerian women.
The initiative will ensure that beneficiaries are mentored, and given adequate information on how they can continue to improve their businesses, and achieve success in their chosen vocations.
According to the Company Secretary, Mrs. Oluwakemi Jafoj, “this year has been a challenging year for Nigeria, and we understand that there are a lot of people who are less privileged among us. It is an opportunity to reach out to the unemployed, people who have vocations but do not have the means to start-up their businesses. We want to impact the lives of the less privileged, because we thought it was necessary to give back to the environment where we operate.”
The initiative is a lauded one as it is regarded as a human development project which is needed to develop a Nation as it will involve the development of businesses run by women across the Nation.
MRS Oil Nigeria Plc, which is one of the leading oil firms in Nigeria is being appreciated on all fronts from our team.
