A student from the University of Lagos, Ayodele Daniel has just graduated from the department of Psychology with a 5.00 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA). This feat was made known by the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Rahaman Bello during the press briefing ahead of the convocation ceremonies.
Mr Ayodele Daniel broke the school’s academic record having been the first to get an A grade in all his exams in the history of the University.
According to the Vice Chancellor of the University, Mr Ayodele Dada is one of the 178 First Class students the prestigious institution will be graduating this week and he described his grade point average as “the perfect score“.
He also added that a total of 10,907 students will be graduating including 5,472 undergraduates and 5,435 postgraduates, adding that a total of 177 others will be bagging First Class degree certificates along with Dada.
The convocation programmes, which has formally kicked off with the media briefing will also feature a convocation lecture to be delivered by the Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Ogbonaya Onu on Monday, February 28.
