The United Kingdom (UK) Trade and Investment (UKTI), in collaboration with Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) and PwC, is holding a Nigeria trade and investment road-show in the UK.
The show in London for a select group of key officials from the federal and state governments to highlight business opportunities in energy, agriculture, transport, solid minerals, ICT and infrastructure sectors to UK investors, key UK government agencies (UK Export Finance, Infrastructure and Projects Authority) and multipliers.
According to a statement by the Communication Manager, British Deputy High Commission, Lagos, Wale Adebajo, the week-long road-show began with an industry event tagged: “Nigeria Open for Business,” will feature a keynote speech from the UK Trade Envoy to Nigeria, John Howell.
The objective is to create a platform for the Nigerian government to profile business opportunities to a UK audience, build relationships with global businesses, link into world value chains and establish links to development finance with the view to developing stronger commercial ties between Nigeria and UK.
The delegation from Nigeria, led by Enelamah, include the Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi; his Agriculture and Rural Development counterpart, Audu Ogbeh; Water Resources Minister, Mr. Suleiman Adamu and Minister of State for Aviation, Hadi Sirika.
