As part of our culture of celebrating everyone who’s making progress in Africa, our team caught up with the beautiful Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tamim Artistry over the weekend, out of her ever busy schedule, she had lots of information to share about her and her startup. CP Africa: Please introduce yourself Ma?
Miss Feyisola: I’m Miss Ogunseye Rebecca Feyisola, CEO Tamim Artistry.
CP Africa: Miss. Feyisola, please, introduce your startup and tell us what you do?
Miss Feyisola: I provide fashion solutions ranging from designing clothes & styling, crafting fabric accessories from bags,clutches, hair & neckpieces, brooches & makeup services.
CP Africa: Miss. Feyisola, I’m pleased to have you here, please describe the vision of your startup?
Miss Feyisola: My vision is to tap into all spheres of art & be a one stop leading brand in the fashion industry in Nigeria, providing unique, quality & affordable services for customers.
CP Africa: What are your core values in Tamim Artistry?
Miss Feyisola: Our core values in Tamim Artistry includes: teamwork, diligence, prompt delivery & perfection.
CP Africa: Where do you see your startup in 5 years from now?
Miss Feyisola: Five years from now, I see Tamim Artistry as a huge employer of labour brand with subsidiaries nationwide.
CP Africa: What are the innovations your startup is bringing to the market?
Miss Feyisola: Unconventional accessories and service as never seen before. We put extra efforts into making sure our pieces are outstanding,reward longstanding customers and put up giveaways & promos.
CP Africa: How are you dealing with competition?
Miss Feyisola: Basically, due to the innovations we are bringing into the Nigerian market, we know there’s competition but we are working hard in beating them to the game. We just keep working on getting better.
CP Africa: What are the key challenges you have faced running your startup?
Miss Feyisola: The challenges are basically assessing long term funds, electricity & traffic.
CP Africa: Your advice for those who haven’t been bold enough to initiate their ideas?
Miss Feyisola: My advice is to start now,you don’t have to be great to start,but you have to start to be great. Start with anything from somewhere. Thank you
