The Confederation of African Football, CAF have concluded the most prestigious competition on the continent known as the CAF Champions League.
TP Mazembe from the Democratic Republic of Congo have defeated USM Alger from Algeria, 2-0 to win the competition for the fifth time.

Mbwana Samatta and Roger Assale, meant the side from Congo
DR will hope to repeat their heroics from 2010, when they became
the first African side in history to reach the Club World Cup final.
The victory comes in front of home fans in Lubumbashi after recording a 1-2 victory away from home in Algeria. The second leg win seals a 4-1 aggregate victory for the team from the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The win means that TP Mazembe will play alongside the champions of Europe, Barcelona FC, the champions of South America, River plate and other continental champions at the FIFA Club World Cup to be held in Japan from December 10 to 20th.
TP Mazembe is ranked 61 in the world ranking of football clubs while being ranked as number one both Africa and the Democratic Republic of Congo!
