The streets of Egypt have been invaded in recent years by auto rickshaw — three-wheeler vehicles used for public transportation. The rickshaws are imported and not as stable as four-wheeler vehicles. An Egyptian, Ahmed Saeed Omar, has designed and fabricated a four-wheel mini-car to replace the three wheeler vehicles.
Omar says that his locally developed mini-car is more stable, more spacious, and less costly to purchase. It looks like he has a winner in his hands. The mini-cars are already recording sales since earlier this year when they were first introduced. Here is a video showcasing Omar’s work:
